The Business Class Like No Other! Coming September 25, 2016
Before we get started, as promised I now reveal to the public... Hustler Logic – Mindset Training: How to Make Money With Any Idea, Product or Service For Full Class Details Click the 'LEARN MORE' Button If you never thought of it before then let me be the first to tell you, Hustlers (entrepreneurs) are crazy! At least judging by the standards of the average person. Think about it… A Hustler will work 10, 20 or 30 hours a week and may not see any return on their time investment. If you worked that same amount of time on a job and didn’t get paid, you’d throw a fit. So what is it that drives the entrepreneur? Is it the potential of money? Is it the hopes and dreams for a better life? Is it that have a problem with unqualified authority telling them what they have to do and when? When I speak with successful people in their relevant fields of expertise (and I’ve spoken with plenty), I found a couple common threads that all of them mention. To my surprise, these were the same conclusions I came up with when I first started my journey towards entrepreneurship. The 1st common thread: Control of their time. To say that is strange because I know personally, sometimes I don’t go to sleep until 3 or 4am. Sometimes even 7am. Some days I function off of 4 or 5 hours of sleep. I’ll spend hours at a time, writing, preparing things, making notes about future projects, creating graphic elements, answering emails, responding to text messages, giving consultations and doing other things to stay on top of my business. Now, when you read all of that, does it sound like I have control of my time? Well I do. The reason is because I LOVE what I do. That’s the 2nd common thread. Entrepreneurs are in love with the grind. They’re completely absorbed in it. I personally think about things I want to do constantly. Sometimes it’s not easy to put it all away and just go do something “normal”. Although my body is there, my mind is still on my work. The average person might say, “James, you’re an obsessive compulsive!” and I would respond, “What better thing is there to be obsessed about other than creating the lifestyle I want to live? Who else is going to do that for me?” This is who I am; day in and day out. This isn’t a suit I put on from time to time just to look like I’m doing something. Thinking this way is a mindset. It’s a completely different way of looking at yourself and life. Freedom of time requires money. Period, simple. It’s difficult to be free when chunks of your time are dedicated to someone else. To free up time, you have to stop trading time for money. At a job, that’s what you do; 8-hours of work, 8-hours of pay. You should be able to make money whether you’re awake or sleep. We all only have 24-hours in a day. Why not make money every hour you can? Shameless Advertisement: The Hustler Logic Class is not me giving you a “magic money system”. With almost 20 years of business experience, I can honestly say you can make money with almost anything! You just have to know WHAT to do, WHY to do it and HOW to do it. This is the information you need to have, and this is what I’m going to share with you. This training will help re-shape your entire mindset when it comes to business. The Game is mental. Since every action is preceded by a thought, then thinking in the best way possible, is vitally important. If you’re not successful, there’s a reason why. A few reasons actually. What I had to learn the hard way was that making money was cause and effect. If you don’t know the CORRECT causes, you won’t get the effect. Have you ever wondered why most businesses fail within 2 or 3 years? Have you ever wondered why most beginning entrepreneurs fail within their 1st year? Wonder no more! It’s all starts in the mind. Over the course of time, every decision you make is either going to advance you or set you back. A series of bad decisions WILL crumble a business. And I do mean quickly! A close friend of mine once ordered some collateral (promotional material) from someone she wasn’t quite familiar with. Despite that, she still gave them a chance. The collateral came back and it looked horrible! Trust me; this was nothing that you wanted to pass out to represent your business. She spoke to the owner of the company and explained her dissatisfaction and he agreed to remake them and send out a new batch free of charge. That was good, but when the new collateral came they were still not something she felt comfortable using. To make things worse, she was working with limited time. That collateral had to be ready to go for an upcoming event she was attending. Now, here’s some simple business Game: Do you think my friend would EVER recommend that company to anyone? Of course not. And what do you think I would tell someone if I heard them mention that company? I would tell me to avoid them like the plague. That company’s poor decisions killed a lot of future business. She knows a lot of people and so do I. If the job was done well we could have referred a good amount of people to them. It’s not enough to just have a business; you also have to deliver, consistently. Yes, entrepreneurs are extreme, and we have to be. The time, the work, the commitment and the careful decisions all lead to something. They lead to what we really want – to have more control of our time doing what we love to do. What better way to live your life and leave a positive mark on this world? SIDE NOTE: There will be no blog post next week. This weekend is the Gentleman’s Game Class. Short post this week only because I’ve been super busy… I’m preparing for the, Gentleman’s Game Class coming up on the 14th. Thanks to all the Gentlemen that stepped up to take the class (by the way, check your emails)! That class is currently full. If you weren’t able to get in, or the date just didn’t fit into your schedule, I may run another one in the future. Also I’m finalizing the class curriculum for the Hustler Logic Class. Detailed information about that training will be available next Wednesday. This will be the longest most advanced class I’ve ever done, in person or online. I’m very excited about it! To all my money makers out there, this is a class you definitely want to consider taking. You have my word, you’ll have a difficult time finding the information I’m going to share all in 1 place. And, to my knowledge, some this information you’re not going to find anywhere else. SIDE NOTE: Uncommon Sense Adviser Subscribers, keep an eye on your emails so you can get into this class at a discount price. Emails will be sent next Wednesday also. Interested in the class and haven't subscribed yet? Then now would be a good time. Another book is also in works. This will only be a short e-book. Nothing too deep, just short and sweet. And I also have some other things coming down the pipeline... announcements will come in due time. So, my Birthday passed this last week. Thank you to everyone who showed love! Also big thanks to Lady Drea – I’m pretty sure you don’t read my blog, but I just wanted to mention that you came through like a champ! Although I would like to tell you that I celebrated my Birthday the whole week, balled out of control and made it rain across Atlanta, I actually spent a lot of my Birthday week in solitude. Now, don’t feel sorry for me. I did that by choice. Plus, Birthdays don’t hold that much excitement for me anymore personally. It has nothing to do with me getting older. In fact, there was a time in my life when I thought I’d never live to see 30 plus. I’m very grateful. Why would I spend my Birthday alone? Well, a couple reasons: (1) I wanted to examine where I am now (2) I wanted to reassess where I’m headed Think of it like a life re-evaluation topped with some introspection. Something I honestly suggest people do a couple times a year. If you’ve lived for a while I think you’ve come to the realization that life really is short. Between solving daily problems and taking on responsibilities sometimes there’s not a lot of time left for you. Squeezing out the time to see where you are and how you can get better is difficult sometimes. This year has been great overall. Aside from a couple personal issues, I couldn’t ask for much more. But life is a series of problems, so you have to take the good with the bad. And you have to transform the bad into good when you can. Here’s some Game to take with you: Every 3 to 5 years there’s a small shift in every layer of The Game in existence. If you don’t keep up with these shifts then you’ll be working off of “old technology” so to speak. Your Game may begin to suffer. So every once in a while, take a moment to reflect on things and examine your Game. See where you are, and observe where your layer of The Game is headed so you can stay on top of it. Being a Player ain’t easy because the kingdom doesn’t run itself. Always stay in motion. Until next week… Curious about the Game?
