OK, OK... I'm a day late with this one, but I’m on vacation! It felt great out there in the Bahamas. Truth be told though, I'm glad to be off the cruise and away from all that water. As usual though, I couldn’t leave you all hanging so I thought I would leave something to challenge your mind and your Perspectives. In the Game we talk a lot about knowledge, wisdom and understanding. It’s a 3-fold process: (1) First you learn about something to gain knowledge about it. (2) You then experiment with that knowledge so you can learn how and when to use it. (3) Finally you begin to fully understand what you’ve learned. So my question to you is. What do you really know? Who told you that the color yellow is supposed to be called, "yellow"? Who told you that the herb echinacea actually has medicinal properties? Who told you that you only have 5 senses? Yeah I know, all this sounds petty and mundane but let me ask you a question... Do you know your alphabet – your A, B, Cs? Most of you would say, “Yes,” correct? So if you really know your alphabet then say it backwards. Most of you, myself included, can’t do it. So we really don’t know the alphabet, we only know the pattern of how we learned to remember them. Being taught about something is not really knowing about it. You gain knowledge, but if you can’t apply that knowledge then you don’t really know it. For all my Players out there, in whatever Game you’re in, always remember – your Game is only limited by what you really know. Not by what you learned, but by what you really know. What you know how and when to use based off your Perspectives and experiences. Keep it moving, always! The blog will be back in full swing next week... Curious about the Game?
